Paper membership fee invoices will soon be subject to a fee – switch to e-invoicing now

Our paper membership invoice will become a fee-based invoice. In future, the paper invoice will have a 5 euro surcharge. If you are currently using a paper membership fee invoice from the YTK Unemployment Fund, you should switch to an e-invoice now.  The e-invoice is free of charge. It is also the most convenient and secure way to ensure that your bills are paid on time. 

Please note that digital versions of paper invoices sent via OmaPosti will also include a billing surcharge.

Two options to switch to e-invoicing

You can make an e-invoice authorisation directly in your online bank. You can also order an e-invoice proposal through OmaYTK.

  1. Sign in to your own online bank.
  2. Follow the instructions in your online bank to order an e-invoice.
  3. You will need your membership number and invoice reference number. You can find these in OmaYTK under “Personal data” and “Membership fee”.

Order an e-invoice proposal in OmaYTK:

  1. Log in to OmaYTK and click on “Order e-invoice” on the home page and select your bank from the list.
  2. Click on “Send e-invoice request”.
  3. The e-invoice request will arrive in your online bank within 1-3 business days to await your approval.
  4. Please approve the request within 30 days or it will expire and the order will not be processed. If the order is not successful, we will send you a paper invoice with a 5 € surcharge.  In the mobile app of some banks, e-invoice requests are not visible. However, you can go to the browser version of your online bank to accept the request.

The e-invoice order button in OmaYTK will revert after 30 days if you have not accepted the e-invoice proposal in your online bank.

If you have not paid your membership fee, you can order an e-invoice at the same time as you pay the membership fee in your online bank. You can find the invoice details in OmaYTK.

The YTK Worklife membership fee will also include a paper invoice fee. If you are a member of both the Fund and Worklife, you will need to make a separate e-invoice authorisation for both membership fees.
