Year of legislative changes
This year is very interesting, because we will see 12 legislative changes to unemployment benefits. Some of these changes are already in force and are already being applied. Some are in force, but will be applied later. In addition, some of the amendments are being processed in the Parliament and one amendment is still in preparation.
YTK’s employment experiment joins SitraLab
About 60 000 of our members are currently unemployed and we feel that everyone should be helped into employment with the best possible tools. Maybe we could use OmaYTK to highlight a job for a specific person?
This wish has led us to push for an amendment to the Unemployment Fund Act to allow funds to provide employment. Last spring, we also asked our members about this and received strong support for our wish. The law is currently being prepared and we hope it will be implemented.
To help us design and deliver fiscally sound services to our members, we applied to join SitraLab, which is testing new ways to use data in a fair way to develop services. Last week, we received some exciting news: we got involved in developing increasingly responsible and actionable ways to use data for the benefit of people, communities and society as a whole.

If you have not tried Elisa Kirja before, you can alternatively choose the completely free trial. During the 60-day trial period, you have 40 hours of reading or listening time.

Take up the guitar, keyboards or drums, or learn to sing so that you dare to sound somewhere other than alone in the shower! Rockway.fi is an online music education service, where you’ll find a lot of learning material whatever your level.
As a combined member, you can try the service for 30 days completely free of charge. After the trial period, you will receive a 25 % discount on your subscription.
Enjoy the pools and sauna

Legal assistance, training or relaxation. What do you need?
